Kindergarten – 8th Grade Uniform Policy:
1) For the 2019 – 2020 school year, we are happy to provide you with multiple options of uniform vendors including Custom IT and Lands’ End.
2) Sweatshirts: All BMA sweatshirts, both from PTA and Sunshine Uniforms, will still be accepted. For the 2019-20 school year, we will also accept solid navy or gray sweaters or sweatshirts without a BMA logo.

- K – 5th Grade: Shorts & Pants are allowed, 6th – 8th Grade: May only wear pants during the school day.
Tops: Navy, Light Blue, White & Pink

BOYS (K – 8th Grade):
- SWEATSHIRTS OR SWEATERS:Sweatshirts: All BMA sweatshirts, both from PTA and Sunshine Uniforms, will still be accepted. For the 2019-20 school year, we will also accept solid navy or gray sweaters or sweatshirts without a BMA logo.
- KIPPAH: Must be worn at all times. Must be appropriate in size and stay clipped on at all times.
- TZITZIT: Must be worn at all times.
- SOCKS: Must be worn at all times.
- FOOTWEAR: Sneakers or flat shoes are permissible. Slippers, clogs, sandals, pool shoes, flip-flops, Crocs, or “Heelys” may not be worn in school.
- HATS: Hats may not be worn during school.
- HAIR: Traditional hairstyles which conform to halacha (with payot) are appropriate for school. Hair must be of a length that is both neat and presentable, reflecting the basic appearance of a ben torah; no excessively long or short hair (subject to administrative discretion) is permitted. No dyed hair.
- Earrings and other body piercings are prohibited.
GIRLS (K – 8th Grade):
- SWEATSHIRTS OR SWEATERS: Sweatshirts: All BMA sweatshirts, both from PTA and Sunshine Uniforms, will still be accepted. For the 2019-20 school year, we will also accept solid navy or gray sweaters or sweatshirts without a BMA logo.
- SKIRTS: All skirts must fall to the knee or below when standing.
- PANTS: Pants may not be worn during school hours, except during approved athletic activities. Leggings under appropriate length skirts are permitted.
- FOOTWEAR: Sneakers or flat shoes are permissible. Slippers, clogs, sandals, pool shoes, flip-flops, Crocs, or “Heelys” may not be worn in school.
- HATS: Hats may not be worn during school.
- HAIR: Hairstyles must be appropriate for school. Dyed hair allowed only in natural colors.
- Earrings are permitted only one piercing per earlobe. All other body piercings are prohibited.
- Students are encouraged to wear blue and white clothes on Fridays and Rosh Chodesh.
- Makeup is not allowed at school, even if applied before school.
